The firm
Two qualifications, two countries — one firm.
Founded by two professionals qualified in Germany and in France. This is not a network of partner firms; it is a single house.
Clients who rely on usWho we are
No network. One house.
Most firms that advise across the German-French border work with a partner firm on the other side. FRADECO is set up differently: two companies of our own, two founders qualified in both countries, one team.
That sounds like a formality and is, day to day, the difference between an answer and a follow-up question. A company facing a tax audit in Germany and reporting to head office abroad does not need someone to translate — it needs someone who knows both sides and answers for both.
We work in German, French and English. If we cannot take a call straight away, we come back to you within 48 hours.

Systems
Your software. Our books.
Many international groups work worldwide in a single system — SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Abas or a group solution — and post either centrally in a shared service centre or locally at the subsidiary. Both work. We keep your books in your system or in ours.
The point at which it becomes expensive lies elsewhere: in a tax audit the German authorities require a machine-readable data extract in line with the GoBD — complete, unalterable and within a short deadline. A system that runs perfectly well day to day can fail at this, because the data was never structured for that purpose.
- Review of the existing data and a check on whether your system can produce an extract that stands up to an audit
- Mapping between the French and the German chart of accounts, so that the GDPdU file carries the account logic a German audit expects
- Preparation in the structure the tax authorities require, with the extraction tested and verified
- Coordination with the system owners at the parent company — changes to the customising are often needed
- A consistency check on the accounting data against the same criteria the auditor applies
- User training and documentation, so that the extract works next time without us
The same requirement exists in France under the name FEC. Anyone audited in both countries needs both formats — and someone who knows where they differ.

before you decide.
An initial conversation costs twenty minutes and commits you to nothing. You will be speaking to someone who will also look after your engagement afterwards — not to a sales team.
